How much does it cost to hire movers in Vancouver?
Solomon Moving charges $155–$185/hr for 2 movers + truck and $195–$215/hr for 3 movers + truck. A one-time travel fee applies: $100 within Vancouver, or based on distance elsewhere, confirmed in your quote. Furniture wrapping, shrink wrap, tape, mattress covers, and floor and door protection are included at no extra cost. What we quote is what you pay — zero hidden fees.

Do you offer long-distance moving across BC and Canada?
Yes! We move across British Columbia and Canada, including Calgary, Edmonton and the Prairie Provinces. We also handle BC Ferries coordination for Vancouver Island moves.
Are packing materials included, and do you provide boxes?
Furniture wrapping, shrink wrap, tape, mattress covers, and floor and door protection are included at no extra charge, along with all necessary moving equipment. Moving boxes are not included — they are available on request if you let us know before moving day, at an extra cost.
How do I prepare for moving day?
Declutter and pack non-essential items early. Label every box with its destination room. Reserve parking near both locations if possible. Disconnect appliances the night before. See our Moving Tips page for more.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Interac e-Transfer, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and debit. Payment is typically due upon completion of the move. For commercial and long-distance moves, a deposit may be required.
